ou may have noticed that we added a drop-down region-selector to our website a few weeks ago (it's in the upper-left-hand corner in case you missed it). To bring TERA-Online into alignment with our partner Frogster's site, TERA-Europe, we plan to additionally implement an IP redirect mechanism on our site that matches the IP redirect on TERA-Europe.
This will only affect users coming from European countries. People in those countries who visit our homepage at TERA-Online will be redirected to TERA-Europe to provide them with the latest news and information for their region.
If users from Europe wish to get information from TERA-Online, they can simply navigate to a page other than the root Tera Gold homepage, select North America from the region selector at TERA-Online, or both.
This change will not affect game servers, and there are no plans for IP redirecting or blocking on either En Masse or Frogster game servers.
This change will be implemented next week on Tuesday, February 22nd.
